Statue of a woman lying on a sheet holding a plant in Jardin des Tuileries.

This lead offering is entitled ''Monument to Cézanne'' and was created in 1925 by Aristide Maillot, who has created several other statues in the gardens.

Her hair is gathered and held in a mid bun.

From this angle the posture looks relaxed.

The woman is leaning backwards on a cloth. Her legs are raised and her heel and side of the foot are touching the ground. Part of the cloth is gathered over her left hip and draped over her right lower arm. She holds a plant in her left hand.

Viewed from this side the statue looks in tenson.
