Hercules tames a bison

Outside the Palais Caillot (also known as Trocadero) looking towrds the Eiffel Tower stands a very large bronze statue of a man holding a bison by one of his horns.

Hercule domptant un bison (Hercules tames a bison) was created by Albert Pommier (1937). Hercules raises his right arm to signal that he won the fight with the bison. He stands stall in his naked glory.
